Cairde Chilliain
Cairde Chillian is the parents association of
Coláiste Chilliain. It is made up of interested parents who organise
fundraising activities in conjunction with the school. We greatly appreciate
all the help given us by the students and teachers with fundraising. Meetings are held once a month in Áras Chrónáin, usually the first Monday of the month. The Principal attends as often as possible to contribute and to seek Cairde's opinions with regard to new policies, policy reviews and policy implementation.
Parents
are encouraged to partake in the activities of Cairde Chilliain
In
recent years monies raised have gone towards the provision of the astro turf
pitch which in turn has become a source of income for Coláiste Chilliain and
Gaelscoil Chluain Dolcáin. Cairde has also contributed towards the provision of
sports gear and equipment, music equipment, scholarships and TY events as well
as interactive whiteboards, computers, library facilities, intercom system and
more.
